Compact Select if you wish the list to appear "compact". "Compact" strips out the few pixels of empty vertical whitespace that is usually inserted between the previous item and the next item. This is useful on the handheld when trying to cram in as many listed options into a small screen, so user doesn't have to scroll down to see the rest. This feature is not yet implemented
