This page specifies the type of handheld software to be installed.

Type of handheld device can be either a normal resolution Palm OS device (160x160 pixel screen) or a high resolution Palm OS device. Choose the type of device you have.

Color depth of handheld device is the maximum number of colors that the device can display.

Power user tip: There is different software binaries for the normal and high resolution, but separate color and grayscale binaries are no longer created: all have color capability. The color depth parameter is just used to configure the image depth for your channels when setting up Plucker Desktop.

Language for handheld software specifies which language of Viewer software to install.

There are three possible items to install:

• Install Plucker Viewer The viewer application, required to read Plucker content on the handheld.
• Install ZLIB decompression tool The tool required to decompress Plucker content that was originally compressed with ZLIB compression. Compression of a channel can be set to either DOC or ZLIB in the Channel Dialog's Output Options Tab.
• Install Plucker Viewer's manual A complete manual describing the caring and feeding of Plucker. The manual can be erased at any later time, in order to conserve storage space on the device.
